8 Steps to Move Your Wellness Business Online

So you're a wellness entrepreneur and you want to become a digital nomad...

Maybe you are currently tethered to a yoga studio, a healing office, or in-person clients and the idea of working from anywhere on your own schedule sounds extremely appealing. Though the idea of transitioning from your current business model to a digital one feels terrifying.

In theory, setting up an online course, offering online sessions, or creating a group subscription container is something that you could do... But in practice, you have found that your heightened sensitivity to energy makes you feel drained and easily overwhelmed by creating and executing these systems online. Maybe your attempts of building your own website, designing a brand, and outlining any kind of digital curriculum began with optimism and ended shortly after with feeling uncertain as to where to start and what to prioritize.

But you don't want to give up!

If this is you, here are my 8-STEP-ACTION-PLAN for what you can do TODAY, so you can move the needle and build an online wellness brand that gives you the freedom to travel endlessly!

1- Start with creating an Instagram page that is solely focused on talking about your journey and wellness services. Think of your Instagram as the nucleus of your business from which everything else will be built out.

2- Write a description of the services you offer. (It's ok to start with just one).

Make sure to clearly explain;

- Who your service is for

- How long it lasts

- Pricing and instructions on how to pay

- What your clients can expect

- Pain points your clients may be experiencing

- The result that your service guarantees

3- Create a link-tree account from which your audience can be redirected to either a calendly link to schedule an intro call with you AND/OR build out a Type-form application where your prospects can apply to work with you.

4- Establish the habit of consistently creating content that shares the following;

- Why you choose to share the services and modalities that you offer

- The story of how your services have helped your life transform positively

- How your services can transform the lives of your clients

- Create long-format videos such as webinars, tutorials, and live videos so your clients can get a preview of what it would be like to work with you.

- Share success stories from your clients who have experienced positive results (ideally capture this in a video testimonial)

- Without making this the centerpiece, share about aspects of your life that are personal to you be that travel, time with family, favorite foods, or practices that you incorporate in your day-to-day lives.

If your current job consumes the majority of your time and the idea of creating all this content feels overwhelming, set a goal to simply chip away at the lowest hanging fruits.

If all you have time for is one hour a week, take it. Use that time to create one post. The cadence of your content doesn't matter as much as the quality and consistency of the schedule you choose.

5- And finally, end-all of your content with a call to action (CTA) inviting your audience to "click on the link in my bio" so they can learn more about working with you.

6- Once you've set up all of the above, invite your community and your existing in-person clients to work with you online.

7- Though it may be tempting to continue the narrative that you're "trying to set up an online presence" or "dreaming of working online", speak about this business change with an assertive tone, inviting them to join you digitally, remembering that confidence sells more than anything else.

8- Once you have a consistent stream of inquiries and regular clients, you'll be ready for a website so that you can save time and increase your prices. That's when you reach out to me šŸ˜‰
